today I'm going to show you how to record a Google meet how to present in that Google meet and also how to manage a Google meet if you have other students in it now the first thing we're going to do if we want to present to a Google I am going to open a Google Chrome window if your on your Chromebook it'll look a little different but you will still start by opening Google Chrome then I'm going to go to my my slideshow that I'm going to be presenting I pulled this up just for the safety presentation here so I went to my drive found my Google slide that I want to present I have it open so now all I have to do is present once I am recording my Google me okay now and previous tutorial I showed you how to create a Google meet in calendar this is going to be the easiest way for you to share links with your students as if it's already on the calendar I have that here I have a life science. One I'm going to join my hangouts meet oh by the way I went to calendar. Google.com or I just went to the app launcher from to calendar going to join a Hangouts meet obviously there's no camera for me but if you did have a camera I would turn it off just because of the stake of connection speeds for some of these or you're so probably not going to be great so I'm going to click join now and I can see there's already a student in here so the first thing I'm going to do going to click participants I'm going to mute that student I can click on their name and hit me up now that will mute the student they can unmute themselves and it will also notify them that they were muted but for the sake of presenting in your class I highly recommend telling them to mute their microphone unfortunately there's no way for you to meet their camera so remind students neither camera that is usually located down here at the bottom the bottom section down here I do have to say however if students are joining on their phones it will hide Auto Hide so they will need to tap on the screen or on a computer just move their cursor down to the bottom and it should allow them to disabled are there Michael are there camera now I'm in my my Google meet I'm going to hit record meeting because I want to record this for the students who aren't in here today I need to wait for that camcorder light to low yeah I'm recording now okay now I have my presentation ready I'm going to present now going to present my entire screen now remember your your entire screen going to be shared so don't pull up your email or your Just Energy with sensitive information okay so I want you to see something here you can see who is in this Miss meeting because there's a student in here so Aria I would pin the presentation so once again painting the presentation will bring it to the Forefront so let me show you what a student is currently saying right now I'm going to drag a window over just for your sake so this is what a student is saying right now they see everything your screen is staying but they also see this down here where it says Arcata High student no that is there because no one has been pinned to the Forefront of the classroom it's basically the equivalent of standing out in front of the class so I want to show you if you click where it says presentation up here I mean if you click where it says presentation you it will pain just your presentation so as you can see this is what a student sees there is no more there's no more in over here on the right hand side that shows a student now this is sorry that I was getting a little crazy so it might look a little crazy so go immediately to your presentation and now it's that will only see the presentation because you pinned your presentation okay now we're going to go through our presentation and as you're talkin students will be able to hear you they won't be able to see your face because you pins the presentation now I'm going to progress through and I want to show you so if you use your mouse and go down to the bottom left there a few tools you have at your disposal there's a pointer do you want to just point out flow of a flow chart or you know just bring some of the tension to a to a part of that the guy that disappears as well so you'll need to go down there and quick okay now I'm done with my presentation going to go back to my neat and I'm going to or since you're presenting I'm going to click on that and click stop presenting are we go alright so now when you're when you're done after your Q&A with the students I'd highly recommend hitting stop recording yep we go so now we stop recording we finished light show and it is all been recorded what that looks like is in an email you'll get shortly it usually takes about three to five minutes but after after your your meat happy hits stop recording you can go to your email and it will look since it like this so in the next tutorial I'll show you what to do with that recording meeting but I wanted to show you in this that it does end up getting an email link sent to you it looks kind of like this so that is presenting and recording a Google slideshow in Google me
