what time today I'm going to show you how to present using your document camera in Google so the first thing is we're going to go to calendar. Google.com or you can navigate here using your launcher in a new tab I can see the Google me that I've already created previously I'm going to click my Google last time. When I click join Hangouts me now there are a few tricks I'd like to show you first off I'm going to mute my camera as I'm going to be doing this on my Chromebook the Chromebook has a microphone and a camera but I only want to be narrating I don't want students staring at my ugly mug I'm going to mute my camera now I'm going to join now as you can see now the first thing I'm going to do I'm going to miss some of the students I haven't needed themselves it might be worth it to just tell the students to self me up if you click on their name put the new fun it will need some I'm getting feedback from the student all right now the next thing I'm going to do is I'm going to head record I want to record my lectures so that students who aren't present can still see you later it says ask for consent for all participants just to let you know guys I'm recording this for the students who cannot make it today is there anyone who does not want to be recorded then please remove root please mute your microphone all right now I'm going to hit present now I'm going to present my entire screen and I can see the share is gray so I need to click on the screen here so that I can click share right now every student should be able to see my presentation the one thing I want to do is I want to pin my so that is the first thing that people see going to click on people and I'm going to pin my presentation by clicking on the presentation as you can see how it is showing the presentation but now I need to open a sphere so sphere is where we will be having the document camera showing I don't have a document camera today to demonstrate but use your imagination turn imagine that I'm writing some very complex mathematical theorems here now I usually you will see whatever your document camera sees right in this window now students can see everything that your computer sees so if you see this bar down here at the students will be able to see it as well so I'm going to minimize this I'm going to use two fingers like a bunny you're going to tap for fingers on the on the touchpad and then I'm going to click Auto Hide show that's why I have more space to work I'm also going to hide this bottom one but I'll leave this for annotation you can lecture and taught and it will all be recorded you can even be riding on a piece of paper on document camera which will be showing up inside of this great this gray area as long as it's plugged in if your camera is plugged in but is not showing up please click where it says camera source and shoes w30 camera now once you're done lecturing and then drawing on your piece of paper out of your document camera you can close this or minimize that I'm going to minimize that and go back to my now that I'm done presenting I'm going to by clicking on people on clicking on my presentation and I'm going to stop for Zenni now would be a good time to open it up to questions and answers you can also keep presenting with the piece of paper underneath that so that people can see what they're supposed to be looking at and you're talking about now the only thing that's left after you're done with your entire lecture or your Q&A is Three Dots and clicking stop recording yes stop recording now tells me that this recording is going to be put directly into my Google Drive in a folder called record where am I be called meet it will also send you an email with the link I was covering it in the next tutorial how to post download rename and share those recordings with your class thanks for joining me today
