Arcata High School senior Siri Caruso has been named a Commended Student in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program. This prestigious recognition places Siri among the top academic performers nationwide, reflecting her outstanding academic achievement and dedication.
Principal Kristin Ferderber expressed her pride in Siri’s accomplishment, stating, “Siri’s earned recognition as a Commended Student isn't surprising due to her intellectual curiosity. We are proud of the way she represents Arcata High School and serves as a role model.”
Commended Students are recognized for their exceptional performance on the 2024 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). This commendation places her among the top five percent of U.S. high school seniors.
