Native American Clubs are active and held at McKinleyville and Arcata High campuses. All are welcome to attend the weekly club regardless of their native affiliation. NAC takes student groups on experiential learning field trips to culturally significant sites, brings in Native guest speakers and every other year hosts the “Success in Both Worlds” Native Youth conference in which over 200 local Native youth from Humboldt, Del Norte, and Trinity counties attend.

Native American Club meeting days and times:

MHS- Tuesdays from 12-12:40 p.m. in room 505

AHS- Wednesdays from 12-12:40 p.m. in the Tiger Opportunity Center

The Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) consists of parents/guardians of students enrolled in the Indian Education Title VI Program along with a teacher representative and secondary school students.  Community member input is also welcome. The PAC meets at least quarterly and more often when business or events are being planned.  All parents/guardians of students enrolled in the program are invited to be on the PAC.
